National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time for us to celebrate the valuable contributions and gifts of individuals with developmental disabilities in all aspects of community life. It’s also an opportunity to raise awareness of the barriers to inclusion many individuals with developmental disabilities still face.
At Goodwill, we celebrate the personal and vocational success of individuals with disabilities every day!
National Reading Month
March is designated as National Reading Month – a month to motivate Americans of all ages to read every day. Reading is fun and has many benefits, regardless of your age!
Share a favorite book with a friend or read aloud with a youngster in your life. Visit one of our Goodwill stores to find your next great read, just in time for National Reading Month!
All Marion Goodwill locations will be CLOSED Easter Sunday, March 31st so that our employees can spend the holiday with their families. We will be open during normal business hours on Monday, April 1st. Thank you! Happy Easter from your friends at Marion Goodwill Industries.
